Gun nuts? Can you please stop belittling the voice of the high school students who survived a massacre?
Some are 18. Some are younger. But everyone's voice is significant.
Not just the ones that agree with you.
I get it. You like your guns. They make cool sounds and look real nice-like on your hip. Very Doc Holliday.
But these kids went through this shooting. They lived it. These kids were literally affected in the most poignant of ways. And they have every right to their opinions. They saw the gun. They heard the gunfire. They lost friends. Siblings. Loved ones.
A guy who survives a fire has every right to talk about fire safety. You being 30 years older than him doesn't negate his opinion.
You don't like the victims of a crime standing up for themselves? Fine.
But do you really have to insult them? Don't they deserve better than that?
Haven't they been through enough?
