A quick blurb about Sheats

Someone asked me if gun control was enforced, wouldn't criminals still obtain guns?  This was my response.

Every criminal who killed innocent people was an innocent person prior to the act, conception, and meditation.

In a perfect world?  It would be great to have part of the background check be a simple question:

"Are you ever going to murder innocent people?"

And receive complete honesty.

The thing is, Sheats proved something quite disheartening.  Many of the same people killing with guns are the same people who once said they were responsible with them.

Sad when this disturbing headline isn't even the worst one about gun violence this month.

Maybe gun control won't prevent all death by firearms... But if it prevented some?

I'd say it's worth it.
